The situation, verified. Dylan flagged spelling errors on the Vault 4 YouTube Shorts. Veljko confirmed the errors are only in the captions/titles, not in the design, and were caused by Metricool hitting the YouTube title character limit on publish — the title got cut off, so accounts published as accoun. The number 50k had also been spelled out as fifty k, which is off-brand and eats characters. This brief gives the exact corrections, the character-limit rules that prevent it recurring, and the step-by-step rename procedure.

1 · Confirmed corrections

Reported verbatim by Dylan (msg #619 / #622). Apply these on every Vault 4 Short where they appear.

was fifty k → should be 50k — use the numeral; it's on-brand and 4 characters shorter.
was accoun → should be accounts — truncation artifact; the title was over the 100-char limit and got cut mid-word.

These are the two Dylan explicitly listed. Because the cause is a length overflow, any word near the end of a long title is a truncation candidate — do a full read-through of each Short's title, not just a find-and-replace of these two.

2 · Root cause — why Metricool truncated it

The hard limit

A YouTube title is capped at 100 characters by YouTube itself. Metricool's title field inherits that same cap. When the composed title exceeds 100 characters, the tail is dropped on publish — that's how …accounts became …accoun.

The visible limit (worse)

Even under 100 chars, the Shorts feed/player only shows roughly the first 40 characters before an ellipsis (≈50–60 on mobile search, ≈60–70 on desktop). Anything past that is read by the algorithm but rarely seen by viewers.

3 · Prevention rules (use these when renaming)

  1. Keep every Shorts title ≤ 100 characters — hard rule. If Metricool shows the counter at/over 100, it will truncate. Target ≤ 60 for comfortable headroom.
  2. Front-load the meaning in the first ~40 characters so the hook survives the feed truncation, not just the hard cap.
  3. Use numerals, not spelled-out numbers: 50k not fifty k, 40% not forty percent. Shorter, on-brand, matches the on-screen design.
  4. Put hashtags/extra copy in the description, not the title. Metricool's YouTube description/body field allows up to 5,000 characters — that's the place for context, links and #Shorts.
  5. Watch Metricool's character counter before scheduling. If it turns red / hits the cap, trim the title until it's clear before you publish.
  6. Brand spelling: always fewpips (lower-case p), never "FewPips".

4 · Rename procedure

Fastest — in YouTube Studio

  1. YouTube Studio → Content → Shorts.
  2. Open each Vault 4 Short → Details.
  3. Fix the title: fifty k → 50k, restore any cut word (e.g. accoun → accounts), confirm ≤ 100 chars.
  4. Save. Repeat for every affected Short.

Use this if these are already-published Shorts — it corrects the live title immediately.

In Metricool (source of the error)

  1. Metricool → Planning / Analytics → YouTube, open the affected posts.
  2. Correct the title text and confirm the counter stays under 100.
  3. Fix the saved templates / drafts too, so future scheduled Shorts don't reintroduce the same overflow.

Editing an already-published post in Metricool may not push back to YouTube — treat YouTube Studio as the source of truth for live titles, and fix Metricool to stop recurrence.
